4.13 Publicity of price
A price agreed upon between an Expert and his Client is not publicly known. In regions where needs are still predominantly met through Expert Orientation, the custom of haggling over prices extends even to ready-made artifacts. These items are still crafted by artisans who prefer to negotiate prices individually with each customer.
The prices of products like cars are generally more transparent, yet we remain unaware of the pricing policies applied to resellers and special customers.
By contrast, the prices of Self-Services, including their discount schemes, are even more publicly accessible.
Prices reach their highest level of transparency in the case of Commodities traded on Self-Service Commodity Exchanges.
