4.11 Relative force of the Market
The invisible, impersonal force of the Market has the greatest and most immediate influence on Commodity businesses, regulating essential parameters such as price and quality.
By contrast, an Expert is relatively shielded from these powerful forces. For example, a well-established architect is more protected from market fluctuations than a well-established farmer.
Self-Services often serve as connecting points between supply and demand, making them more sensitive to Market forces. Major global Self-Services, such as Stock or Commodity Exchanges, reflect this influence. In times of severe Market crises, even these Exchanges can collapse and temporarily suspend operations.
