2.2         Customers and their Names

The most appropriate term for the customers of lawyers, architects, advisors, tailors, and similar experts is Clients. A Client is someone for whom an Expert provides an individual solution.

Every Product is eventually consumed, making Consumers the best term for its customers. Some Products are not physically consumed, but people perceive them as such because new Products continuously emerge.

Self-Service systems are used by Users.

Producers of commodities supply their goods in standardized quality, units of measure, and prices set by the Commodity Exchange. The Exchange represents the entire Market for a given commodity, and suppliers use it to hedge their physical deliveries.
